Wojciech Szapiel

Two and a half decades of experience in strategy, value creation, and execution.

Wojciech is a senior strategy and value creation advisor, investor, and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience working with owners, boards, and executive teams. He operates at the intersection of strategy, value creation, and execution, helping organizations translate strategic intent into measurable outcomes in EBITDA growth, cash flow improvement, and long-term enterprise value.

He combines strategic advisory work with hands-on investment experience, including more than a decade in the Private Equity and Venture Capital markets. Wojciech has worked with leading organizations in Poland and the UK, supporting complex transformation, growth, and investment initiatives in environments characterized by high execution pressure and decision-making complexity.

Wojciech currently serves as CEO of Inventity Foundation, where he leads the development of a licensed advisory network built around Growing Pains Strategy®, an internationally recognized methodology for scaling and professionalizing organizations through the integration of strategy, leadership, and execution discipline. As a Certified GPS® Advisor, he has authored and co-authored dozens of successfully implemented transformation and growth strategies.

Over the course of his career, Wojciech has completed more than 100 capital investments, including a project awarded “Impact Investment of the Year” by the European Business Angel Network (EBAN). He has also acted as a subject-matter expert for the European Commission (Directorate-General for Research and Innovation), contributing to the design of a pan-European Funds of Funds (FoF) investment model aimed at mobilizing public capital to support innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic growth.

His sector experience spans energy, financial services, media, construction, logistics, IT, and technology-enabled businesses. Wojciech brings an ownership-oriented, Private Equity–style mindset to his advisory work, with a strong focus on decision quality, operating model design, corporate governance, and active management of execution risk.

Wojciech holds a Corporate Innovation credential from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Private Equity & Venture Capital diploma from Bocconi University in Milan, complemented by formal education in leadership psychology, financial management, intellectual property, and business administration.
