Adam Straż

Adam has over 20 years of experience in production management within the automotive and aerospace industries, including greenfield plant launches, process optimization, and quality system implementation. He has led organizations with up to 250 employees in international and multicultural environments.

He specializes in plant operations, lean manufacturing deployment, supply chain development, cost reduction, and building high-performing teams. As Plant Director at Onduline Polska, he implemented ISO14001 and ISO45001 management systems and achieved an 8% annual cost reduction, while maintaining excellent performance standards (zero customer complaints, 95% on-time delivery).

At Southco Poland, he built a new greenfield production facility employing 250 people. He successfully led three strategic projects – Genesis, Sapphire, and Moonstone – focused on production transfer and new technology deployment. His leadership consistently delivered results exceeding 8% above budget targets for six consecutive years.

Previously, as Managing Director at Sonima Sp. z o.o., he ran an organization focused on operational excellence, delivering 100% on-time delivery over a 3-year period. At PZL Mielec – A Sikorsky Company (UTC), he was responsible for developing a
procurement strategy covering 200 suppliers across five commodity groups.

He holds an MSc in Materials Science from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków and a postgraduate diploma in Finance and Accountancy from UMCS in Lublin. He has completed numerous professional trainings in Lean, Six Sigma, Leadership (LSE), Negotiation (SMU/Sikorsky), ISO Audits, APQP/PPAP, and FMEA. He is a Certified GROWING PAINS STRATEGY® Advisor.
