Maciej has been involved in the capital market and Corporate Finance for over 20 years. The dominant part of his professional activity was working in the investment area, both in the public market and in the VC market.
He worked in investment departments of companies such as EVIP International, starting as a consultant, providing strategic and financial advice, including for companies planning to go public through entry on the GPW. At Bank Pekao SA/UniCredito, he participated in the implementation of large M&A transactions. Working at the pension fund PTE Ergo Hestia/Aegon, he was responsible for investment recommendations for portfolio management purposes. For the past 12 years, he has been involved in the VC sector, responsible for creating organizational and legal frameworks and investing funds worth CHF 53 million (KFK) and EUR 200 million (PFR Ventures) by launching a portfolio of VC funds. During KFK’s operation in the Polish market, 17 new VC funds were created, and during the two years when Maciej was responsible for investments in the BridgeVC Program as Investment Director, 3 Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) funds were launched with a total capitalization of around PLN 300 million.
Maciej was a member of the Supervisory Boards and Investment Committees of portfolio funds. He holds the CFA certificate and is a graduate of the MBA program at Leon Koźmiński International School of Management in Warsaw.
