Tadeusz Pietka

Tadeusz gained his professional and business experience working in large international corporations, leading global consulting firms, VC/PE investment funds, as well as working with leading private entrepreneurs and investors in Canada, UK, Germany, and Central and Eastern European countries, particularly in Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, and Romania.

In the past, Tadeusz played key roles in building, strategic management, growth, and restructuring of many financial institutions, including five retail and mortgage banks, a financial holding company, and two industrial conglomerates in Central and Eastern Europe.

Throughout his career, Tadeusz held positions on the boards and supervisory boards of companies such as GE Mortgage Bank, Getin Holding, Getin Leasing, Allianz Bank, Boryszew, Impexmetal, NFI Magna Polonia, DM W Investments in Poland, STC Investments and The Bank Financial Initiative in Ukraine, and Deutsche Capital Management AG in Germany. Earlier, Tadeusz gained experience at Royal Bank of Canada, Bank of Montreal, McKinsey & Co., and Bain & Co. In 2008, Tadeusz founded the strategic advisory firm Colonade International based in Warsaw with a representative office in Singapore.

Tadeusz graduated with honors from the Economics Department with a specialization in Finance and Accounting at Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada. He also holds an MBA from London Business School and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation awarded by the CFA Institute (formerly AIMR) in Charlottesville, Virginia, USA. Tadeusz also holds a diploma from the Ministry of Treasury authorizing him to sit on the supervisory boards of state-owned companies.
